At speeds under 5 km/h:Both an active TM key and a pulled emergency egress lever open the traction loop. An active TM key triggers the PEI alarm and applies the emergency brake after 5 seconds if not reset.
At speeds over 5 km/h:TM key activation has no effect. Emergency egress triggers an alarm but traction is only cut once speed drops below 5 km/h. The door will attempt to self‑close.
